Museum of the Shenandoah Valley- The Trails

The Museum of the Shenandoah Valley contracted with Painter-Lewis, P.L.C. to design a series of walking trails to include one 50 foot long span and one 20 foot long span pedestrian bridges in the City of Winchester. Painter-Lewis, performed structural analyses for the bridge, foundation, and retaining wall structures, and prepared full engineered plans for the structural and civil components and systems on this project. Additionally, Painter-Lewis performed construction management services throughout the construction process including special inspections and testing, submittal review, and design modifications to accommodate unforeseen site conditions.
