Structural Inspection Services
Painter-Lewis offers structural inspection services to our clients on a project by project basis at the direction of our clients. This includes 3rd party inspections for local jurisdiction departments and private inspection services.
Structural Engineering, Design & Development
We provide a complete and comprehensive analysis and design for a wide variety of residential and commercial projects. The scope of our structural engineering services include analysis and design for individual components to complete structural support systems, which include super structure, sub structural and foundation design. Structural systems include wood, steel, light gauge metal, concrete and any combination.
Civil Engineering & Land Planning
Our civil engineers design and oversee the construction of public works, such as roads, residential bridges, hydrology and hydraulics, building layouts, water and sanitation systems, stormwater systems, stormwater management and stormwater quality. Site planning includes a wide variety of design from small individual parking structures to large info structure designs.
Bridge Inspections
Painter-Lewis is certified by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) to perform bridge inspections for public bridge and culvert facilities. We also perform private bridge designs and inspections.
Surveying
Our survey team specailizes in topographical surveys, Global Positioning Surveys (GPS), subdivision layout, all phases of construction surveying, condominium plats, and ALTA/ACSM surveys.
Landscape Architecture
Landscape architecture includes: site analysis, site inventory, site planning, land planning, planting design, and grading. Our landscape architect specializes in indigenous plant species and their relation to the enhancement of the local environment.
Septic System Designs
We offer commercial and residential conventional and alternative septic system and drain field designs.
