Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum, Winchester Virginia

Painter-Lewis, P.L.C. contracted withe Reader-Swartz Architects, P.C. to provide structural design services for the proposed Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum. This project consisted of renovating an existing building, which was originally a furniture store constructed in the 1950s, to accommodate a children's museum. In addition to providing the structural design and construction administration services for the modifications to this building, the office has continued to provide structural design services for some of the more complex and large scale exhibits the museum hosts.
